Description

Like other shoes in the Collection that were altered across the throat or vamp, it is likely these boots were worn as a costume. Le Gip split the top of the boot to insert a gusset of soft buff leather. He then painted them white, added hand stitching detail and his signature rawhide laces. These alterations transfored the original boot style from classic to fantastical, while achieving a custom fit for greater functionality.
